This is a new way for bad guys to steal your ATM pin code using an iPhone without you noticing at all BUT there is a really simple way to prevent it from happening.

Another easy precaution would be to push the buttons with something like a pencil. No finger, no heat exchange, unless the heat of the pencil is a problem. Could you test that!

Carry a can of cold spray, spray the pad with it before you walk off (its electronics safe), if they ask what you are doing say you are covering your thermal signature, that will be the end of it.
